BackDevelopment of my business and the credit crunch
Posted on 10th October 2008
In a recent
survey by the BBC where over 15,000 business were
surveyed on how their confidence was coping with
the economic news that was sweeping the face of
our daily papers; 55% of them suggested that their
trust in the markets had fallen.
During the same
week an interview with Peter Jones, the prominent
Dragons Den venture capitalist uncovered some
interesting points about how the economy is really
doing.
Fear- a well known selling tool used by the major
corporations to keep their uneducated customers
under jurisdiction seems to be working quite well
in the market. The major corporation in this story
seems to be the banks coupled with the power of
the tabloids and suddenly we have a very good tool
in which to naïve person on the road is
running for shelter and the government is handing
out Billion Dollar cheques to help their
liquidity.
Do empty vessels
make the most noise? Quite possibly so in this
case.
